Day 94: Irrevocable!

Romans 11:26-29

and so all Israel will be saved. Even as it is written,

“There will come out of Zion the Deliverer,
and he will turn away ungodliness from Jacob.
This is my covenant to them,
when I will take away their sins.”

Concerning the Good News, they are enemies for your sake. But concerning the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sake. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

Even if the Jews haven’t chosen Him, Jesus has chosen them. God isn’t like a man who gives his word and then decides not to do it. God said that He would send Jesus to deliver them and make them righteous and He will do it. God has made covenants with Israel that cannot be changed by them or anyone else.

God’s gifts and choices cannot be reversed. This should fill you with security and happiness because God has also given us His gifts and chosen us to be a people for Himself! There is nothing that can change what God has chosen and if you believe in Jesus, He has chosen you.
