Romans 3:1-2 :

Then what advantage does the Jew have? Or what is the profit of circumcision? Much in every way! Because first of all, they were entrusted with the oracles of God.

The truth is hard to find in a world full of lies. God loved us so much that He gave His words to the Jews so that they could share them with all of us. In this world of confusion, these Jewish words hold the truth about the most important questions a person can have in this life. There is no more important writing than that of the Bible and that is the writing that God gave through the Jewish people.

Whole countries have been lifted up because of the wonderful words of God that the Jews recorded and protected for all of these years. They have been a blessing to mankind because God chose them for this purpose. Although The Law points out our problems, without it, we wouldn’t realize that we need a savior. The Jews also told us about the Savior and recorded these words that we read today.

Sometimes life may bring us down and we may be tempted to think that there is no advantage in being a Christian either. Even though Christians must live in an evil world with so much sin, temptation and pain, God has a purpose and is working that purpose out through us too.
