Acts 17:26-27 :
He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons, and the boundaries of their dwellings, that they should seek the Lord, if perhaps they might reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. ‘For in him we live, and move, and have our being.’
This passage directly opposes Darwinian Evolution. Darwinian Evolution suggests that there are multiple races of men with different ancestors which were originally animals. This belief system suggests that some groups of humans may naturally not be as intelligent or as advanced as other groups because they came from life forms that had possibly evolved more.
Notice that the Bible completely denies the concept of “races.” It says that there is only “one blood” and we all come from exactly and only one man. We are all brothers and sisters of a single race: The Human Race. People may try to twist the Bible to say that there are evolved races but a strait-forward reading clearly shows that this is not the case.
Notice that God also was the one who defined the seasons and people groups, with the purpose that mankind should seek Him out. In fact, some had sought Him out because even in Athens there were “devout persons” when Paul came to visit. Men were still without excuse for their ignorance because God had designed the world with enough evidence for them to realize that there possibly was an “Unknown God.”
