Masking God

It was brought to my attention that some satanic rituals involve wearing a mask and standing six feet apart (source at 43:55). It was also brought to my attention that there isn’t any scientific evidence that standing six feet apart reduces the spread of small viruses like SarsCov2. These are a just a few of the poorly linked “facts” that formed the basis for the policies that began to control our lives in 2020.

I have already written about the fact that universal masking is wrong. Since then, it was brought to my attention that mask mandates also do another thing. They cover the face of a creature that was made in the image of God Himself. Doing a thing like this may have ramifications that we can’t fully know. Even though there are times that God allows the sick to be masked, as I mentioned in the other article, only the outwardly sick with specific kinds of disease are to be masked and only below the nose.

You might argue that it isn’t the physical face that God finds most important, but that’s not the point. Even if the physical is only a symbol of the spiritual, it must remain symbolic. In other words, if it is a symbol of what is good spiritually, it is wrong to harm the symbol just as it is wrong to harm the real thing. Jesus’ face is mentioned as being connected to the glory of God and He is our example. (See: 2 Corinthians 4:6)

When you study the Bible, you quickly come to the conclusion that doing things that God doesn’t like have consequences. Some of those consequences are immediate and some of them don’t happen until after you die, but under no condition will any man get away with anything that goes against God. (see Numbers 32:23)

The Bible also tells us that God has an enemy. Satan has been trying to mess God up since God exposed Satan for his attempt to take over. As Christians, we know that this is the real battle on earth today. It may look political, but it’s much more than that. It makes sense that Satan would cause those under his control, like Biden, the CDC and Dr. Fauci, to create an environment that condemns mankind. Satan has used this method before to destroy men. Man may have another purpose, but is he often used by Satan to do what God hates.

It is a Christian’s responsibility to promote God and His image. We are to teach our children the same. Besides the fact that the masks are a symbol of servitude to other men, which is wrong for a Christian (see 1 Corinthians 7:23), it also represents something that covers the face of God. This is evil and must be stopped before our culture faces the inevitable consequences.

Experts Disagree with Covid-19 Guidelines

You may have seen the signs that say: “Masks save lives.” Have you ever considered which lives they are talking about? Some mask experts actually say that they don’t save Covid-19 lives. The same is true with Covid-19 vaccines. High-level experts are clearly saying that the vaccines are not only ineffective, they are saying that they are actually dangerous.

Challenging the Mask Mandates

In this video The Highwire’s Del Bigtree interviews two masking experts. They say that not only is mask wearing ineffective in stopping the spread of Covid-19, long-term mask wearing is bad for your health and can actually prolong your illness.

One of the many alarming things that this video reveals, is the attempt by our institutions to lie to the people about what their own eyes can clearly see. Notice that when you do your own carbon dioxide test, you discover that you have a very harmful level when wearing a mask for just a short time. Our institutions and media have attempted to get people to ignore their own science.

The Value of your Own Experience

On top of the fact that efforts have been made to encourage us to ignore our own eyes, they are also making it appear that experts agree that masks are not only beneficial, but necessary to keep people safe from Covid-19.

When I use my own eyes, I keep discovering more real evidence that masks simply don’t work for viruses like Covid-19. Here’s a formal study that documents long lists of health issues that can be caused by wearing a mask as well as explaining why masks don’t really work for Covid-19, that’s only a recent one. In my article: Questioning Mask Mandates, I provide a link to a list of over 50 studies that challenge the use of masks for diseases like this Covid-19. That’s a lot of experts and it isn’t what we are being lead to believe by those who claim to have our best interests in mind.

The Complete Treatment Blackout

Dr. Peter McCullough is the most published writer in his medical field. He asserts that when a person contracted Covid-19, they were given no other option than to sit at home and wait to get worse. He believes that this was an improper way to deal with the disease.

Dr. McCullough also addresses the government’s ineffectiveness in regard to determining what kinds of treatments were being used and distributed. He also mentions that his YouTube video was censored making it even harder for doctors to get information about what to do.

Dr. McCullough is an expert, but he mentions that he worked with others who agree with him as well. He notes that the testing protocols clearly lack a scientifically rational basis.

Challenging the Push for Vaccination

Mask wearing is a serious issue to many experts, but the problems with Covid-19 vaccines is an even bigger issue among those who know how they work.

Right about the time that the first Covid-19 vaccines were being released in the U.K. and the United States, I discovered two prominent health experts, one from Germany and one from the U.K. that were expressing so much concern about the vaccines that they formally asked European countries to stop both the human testing and the distribution of them. Here’s a video that includes one of these experts explaining how the vaccine could potentially cause problems with having children.

It’s good to highlight that in my video, the expert explains that our body functions are actually dependent on certain viruses. In other words, not all viruses are bad. This is kind of important for people to understand don’t you think? Especially when you choose to take a vaccine that teaches your body to eliminate a class of viruses. What if you teach your body to eliminate a virus that you will need later?

The other expert that helped develop the warning to European countries mentioned earlier, also used to be the lead scientist for the vaccine making company: Pfizer. His name is Dr. Mike Yeadon. He and many other experts, believe that the Covid-19 pandemic has actually been over for a long time.

Notice that Dr. Yeadon also believes that the test procedure being used to test for Covid-19 is ineffective. Now you might be thinking that he’s wrong. Too many experts disagree with Dr. Yeadon. Well, that’s not a good argument logically. It doesn’t matter how many experts disagree with the truth. The truth is still the truth, but if you are thinking that it makes his argument’s weaker, then it’s important to understand that a very large number of experts have been kept from public view by the institutions that have made the rules.

Challenging the Lack of Options

I’d also like to mention Dr. Ben Carson. As far as I know, Dr. Carson is usually in favor of vaccines. I believe he may have even argued against Trump on the issue during the primary campaign before the 2016 election. Even so, Dr. Carson also disagrees with how Covid-19 and the push for vaccination is going. He even appeared to have trouble talking to Neil Cavuto who seemed to keep trying to push the vaccination initiative without considering other treatments.

The Huge Number of Experts that Disagree

You may not even know about it, but there is a group of over 60,000 medical and scientific experts that disagree with how Covid-19 is being handled and were willing to sign their names to it. You can find The Great Barrington Declaration here.

Dr. Roger Hodkinson from Canada is well aware of The Great Barrington Declaration. He’s an expert on his own right and also speaks out strongly against what the government has been doing in regard to Covid-19. He calls for an immediate end to the government’s involvement and explains in detail in this video.

It’s important for all of us to remember that expert opinion does not equal truth. What it does do is inform us when we make our own decisions.

Since only God has perfect knowledge of disease and since it is wrong to forcefully change someone’s body based on your own ideas, the only moral option is to allow individuals to choose whether or not they should wear masks or take vaccines. We should also know that many experts disagree with the requirements and recommendations that our institutions and governments are making.

Here are some important videos to watch that document voter fraud in the 2020 election. When you look into it yourself, you will see that something is very, very wrong. There’s really no sense in continuing with elections if we can’t fix the system first.

Here’s another video by Mike Lindell. It’s an interview with Dr. Frank who is a mathematics expert. He demonstrates why it is statistically obvious that the 2020 Election was manipulated using the computers in a systematic way across the entire United States.

Election Fraud Court Rulings

False claims have been made by members of the media that there has been no evidence and no court rulings of election fraud in the 2020 election. Here is the truth.

This is a case from the 2020 election in which a Mississippi Judge ruled that the election was so fraudulent that a new election was ordered. Here’s an article about that case: Mississippi Judge Rules 78 Percent of Mail-In Ballots Fraudulent, Orders New Election.

In Pennsylvania, a court also ruled that the Secretary of State illegally accepted late ballots. The article says:

“Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that mail-in ballots could be accepted three days after Election Day, Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar submitted guidance that said proof of identification could be provided up until Nov. 12, which is six days from the ballot acceptance deadline.”

One of the biggest problems with obtaining rulings on fraud evidence in the 2020 election is that many courts refused to hear the cases based on evidence. Many cases are still in process and I intend to update this post as more rulings are made.

The Most Important Message

God’s Message to Us

The Bible is not a normal book. It claims to contain a message that God wants man to know, and there is no reason to not believe what it says. It tells us that God created the universe, and when He did, He made it to be a perfect place. There was no death or suffering. All of the good things we see in nature and more existed at that time. On the new earth, God placed all kinds of the creatures as well as the first two humans. He made a garden for them to live in, but He also gave them a test. He put a tree in the middle of that garden and commanded them to never to eat from it.

Satan’s Story

God also created angels, and at one point, some of them rebelled against God. The leader of the rebellion was the most beautiful creation that God ever made named Lucifer. Not long after man was created, Lucifer, now called Satan, decided to see if he could convince man to go against God too.

Satan took on the form of a snake, and tempted Eve to eat from the forbidden tree by causing her to doubt God and think independently of Him. God had warned Adam and Eve that if they ever did choose to eat from the forbidden tree, they would die. Satan was successful in tricking Eve into eating from the tree. Even though Adam wasn’t tricked, when Eve ate it and gave it to him, he decided to go along with her and eat it too. The perfect world that God had created was then cursed by God because of what Adam and Eve did. That’s why things are so bad for us today.

Man’s Fall and Future Hope

God had put man in charge of the earth, but man decided to disobey God and as a result, God kept His word and brought death into it, but instead of killing Adam and Eve immediately, God killed an animal and gave Adam and Eve clothes and allowed them to die slowly. He said that even though Adam and Eve would get old and die, He was going to save mankind and heal the whole earth someday through one of their descendants. Adam and Eve believed and started having kids!

Our Separation from God

The Bible goes on to tell us that as the population of mankind grew, they began to sin so badly that God was disgusted and decided to destroyed the whole world with a flood, but, keeping His promise, He reserved one good man and his family alive to repopulate the earth. Even after that, their descendants kept disobeying God to such a degree that God forced them to separate from each other by confusing their languages. This divided the world into different cultures. The resulting genetic separation is probably what caused such widely different looking humans. In all of this, God was still following through on His promise to Adam and Eve, but the child who was to save mankind had not yet been born.

God’s Plan to Save Us Could Not Be Stopped

Satan, however, was doing whatever he could to stop God’s plan from happening. He may have thought he defeated God when Adam and Eve sinned, but God had a plan and went right around him. He may have thought he won when God decided to destroy the world with a flood, but God saved Noah. He may have even thought that he won when he made Noah’s descendants go against Him, but God still worked it out.

Then the Bible follows the history of Israel. God decided to pick out three men: Abraham, his son Isaac and his son Jacob. Out of these men, God literally generated a new country that He named after Jacob, whom He had renamed Israel. He also chose a piece of real estate in a land called Canaan, destroyed the existing evil descendants of Noah who lived there and put Israel’s descendants in their place, but Satan could see what was happening and got right to work. By his scheming, he tempted Israel to become just as evil, if not worse, than the Canaanites were before them. Once again, God punished them, but once again, God went right around the problem.

God’s Plan is Revealed

Unexpectedly, after Israel had been occupied by the oppressive government of Rome, God sent an angel named Gabriel to a poor Israeli girl named Mary, telling her that she was going to have the promised child. Gabriel explained to her that this was not to be a typical child, but would actually be God Himself, and to prove it, she would get pregnant without the help of a man. That’s exactly what happened, and she gave birth to Jesus. To spread the word, thousands of God’s Angels were sent to announce the coming to the most unlikely segment of Roman society, Jewish shepherds! God was aware of what they were capable of, however. They went and told everyone what they saw and didn’t rest until they found this promised child. God knew what He was doing. Satan, however, got the leader of the time to kill all of the Jewish children in the region, but God gave Mary’s husband, Joseph a dream, and they immediately left to Egypt, once again escaping Satan’s attempt to stop God’s plan.

What Jesus Did for Us

You can imagine the life that Jesus must have lived after that. He would do something, but Satan would try to kill it, only to have Jesus go right around it. The Book of John in the Bible is important reading at this point. It tells you some of the details of this time in history. The fight to secure the salvation of the human race was coming to a critical moment.

Jesus lived in a way that made every other human look bad. He followed God’s commands, the ones that He gave to Israel’s children when He formed their nation. Unlike all the rest of them, He didn’t fail and on top of that, He pointed out the failures of others. Jesus wasn’t trying to just make people feel bad, He just knew that a person who doesn’t want to be saved, can’t be saved. If you are happy with the fact that you are sinning and don’t care that you are going to be punished for it, you won’t be willing to accept your way out of punishment. God had given man free will up to this point and He continues to do that now. If you don’t admit that you do things that God hates, you won’t be thinking clear enough to accept your salvation!

Without really understanding what they were doing, the Romans and the Jewish leadership conspired to kill Jesus. I really think that Satan thought he did it this time. Not only did Jesus die, He was tortured to death by God’s own special people, along with the leadership of the Roman government. Once again, however, this was all part of God’s plan.

God Wins

Jesus did die and for three days He was put in a tomb in Israel, but on the third day, He resurrected Himself and walked out of His tomb, never to return. When you look back at the Bible, you discover that God had planned this from the very beginning. The concepts were symbolically placed in the history of the Bible. Israel had prophets that predicted it, and Jesus himself even predicted it. Jesus, by his obedience to God beat death itself by coming back from the dead.

The Bible says that it was God’s plan to win back all of mankind by taking the punishment for Adam and Eve’s sin Himself. He did that as Jesus. If you are willing to admit that you are part of the problems we have on earth and simply believe that Jesus has already paid the price to keep you from punishment, you will not suffer that punishment.

What Jesus Saves Us From

That brings up the issue of punishment. What is the punishment that Jesus was saving people from? For that I need to quote something that Jesus hasn’t said yet. You heard that right. The Bible speaks of things that haven’t happened yet. There are things in it that are still happening. Jesus is still getting around Satan and Satan is still trying to stop Him. You and I are now in the middle of this. This is what Jesus will say in the future:

He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” He said, “Write, for these words of God are faithful and true.” He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes, I will give him these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son. But for the cowardly, unbelieving, sinners, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
– The Bible (Revelation 21:5-8)

That lake of fire that burns is what we call Hell. That’s God’s jail and it’s permanent. The death we usually talk about today is just the first one. After that, those who haven’t accepted Jesus will have to go to court and then it will be too late to change. This is why this message is so important.

Your Choice

If you will believe in Jesus now, before you die, you will be saved from the second death. The section of the Bible called “The Book of Revelation” that I just quoted from, also tells us that we aren’t at the end yet. When the end comes, God will change the whole earth, transforming it from what it is today. This world will contain only the good things again and none of the bad things. God will destroy all of the bad things. If we don’t accept God’s way for a human to become good, we will have to be destroyed with the rest of the bad from the old world. So, please take this seriously and choose to depend on Jesus now because you don’t know when you will die.

If you have chosen to trust in Jesus’ payment for your sin by his death, I encourage you to do these four things:

1) Tell God right now. Pray to Him by just talking and telling Him you accept what He has done for you. He is everywhere and can hear you.

2) Tell someone else that you believe. Start by just telling them, but I encourage you to make it “official” by getting baptized. Have another Christian perform this ceremony in order to show others that you have accepted this.

3) Read the Bible and pray as often as you can. God has provided us everything we need to grow as Christians in the Bible and Satan is here and he will be after you now. God’s message is like a weapon against Satan. Just like we need to believe the Bible about being saved from Hell, we need to believe it about everything God has said. Satan will try to stop that in order to keep you from influencing other people, so we need to stay focused on the truth. Get an e-copy of the Bible’s book of John right here.

4) Get together with other Christians on a regular basis. The Bible says that we were meant for each other. Although there are many troubles, even between Christians sometimes, a whole life of joy awaits us as we experience God’s love together. We will not accomplish God’s work alone.

If you trust in Jesus in this way, you are a Christian. You have nothing to worry about because God has forgiven you and you will be with me and all of the other Christians on the New Earth someday. Thank you for listening to this message.

God Says We are All Witnesses

You don’t have to be an “expert” to determine if something is true. All you need are good witnesses and you can figure it out for yourself.

I bring this up because of a popular belief that you can’t really know whether or not something is true unless an experts tells you. In the instance of voter fraud, are you able to detect voter fraud, or does that require that an expert tell you it happened?

The answer should be obvious to us, but it appears that many people have been confused by our current leadership and media.

In the article: “Detroit absentee ballot instructions conflict with witness testimony about irregularities“, I learned that Detroit election workers were told to not do signature checks for mail-in ballots and to change the dates on ballots that came in late. Both of these things were clearly against the law. Was this election fraud or should we merely trust the legal system because no cases have proven that any fraud took place?

If you are thinking that you might not be knowledgeable enough to figure out if something is voter fraud, let me ask you this: Do you know how to legally vote? How do you know you are legally voting if determining fraudulent voting requires an “expert”? How good is a voting process if the voter can’t tell if they are voting fraudulently?

So, if the law says that you must do a signature check for each ballot, and an election official tells you not to do it, is that a fraudulent demand? I hope you can say yes without requiring an “expert” to tell you. If what is said in this article is true, was there fraud in the 2020 election?

If you are having trouble answering this question, I’d like to strengthen your convictions by showing you what God says. God gave all of us the rules for determining if something is true. That’s one of the amazing blessing of the Bible. God tells all people, whether we are experts or not, how to investigate a matter. Here’s what He says:

Deuteronomy 19:15:

“One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin that he sins. At the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall a matter be established.“

The Bible tells us that if you can understand what it says here, you have all of the expertise you need to determine whether something is true or not. If you have two reliable witnesses, then the matter is established.

In the case of the Detroit election fraud accusation, the article says:

‘But in her post-election affidavit, Jessy Jacob affirmed, “I was instructed not to look at any of the signatures on the absentee ballots, and I was instructed not to compare the signature on the absentee ballot with the signature on file.”‘

Then the article also says:

“He added that there were others who swore in their own affidavits that they were given the same improper instructions Jacob received.”

So here we have at least three witnesses that have testified to the same thing in this case. We know that the law says one thing and that at least three witnesses have testified that they were told by an official to do a different thing. If we use the Bible as our guide, and accept what we are told about what the law says, then we must conclude, without needing the help of any more expertise, that election fraud took place.

If having this kind of power seems crazy to you, remember that the founders of the United States of America believed in us. We know because they set up something in our court system called “the jury”. That’s just a group of ordinary people, like you and I. A jury was given the power to judge for itself whether or not something happened. A jury isn’t filled with “experts” and that’s because our founders knew that relying only on “experts” was a serious danger to avoid.

There are many things that our founders put into our Constitution that made it difficult for tyrants to take control. That’s because they knew what it was like to live under their influence.

If we know what is good for us, we will listen to our founder’s warnings, stop listening to “experts”, and start looking at the truth for ourselves.

A Covid Connection to Bible Prophesy

Even though the Bible doesn’t say anything directly about viruses and vaccines, it does predict lockdowns. The Bible warns us that someday, a wicked leader will succeed at controlling the whole world, not even allowing them to buy or sell anything without his “mark.” Could this kind of control be the intention that these leaders have had all along in regard to Covid-19? Is it their intent to bring all of humanity under control using the fear of a virus as the agent of change?

Quite some time ago I had heard about “The Great Reset” and the plans that global elites had to drastically change our lives. I admit that I didn’t see a solid Biblical connection until recently, even though I believe I have a very good understanding of what the Bible says about these things.

I knew that something wasn’t right with the Covid story, though. I think we all realized that they kept extending the dates. The “15 days to slow the spread” turned into “two months to flatten the curve” which somehow turned into a “casedemic” even after deaths were greatly reduced. Then we had the second and third “waves” of the casedemic, all the while being subjected to ridiculous health mandates and lockdowns as we waited for the vaccine.

I could see that our leaders were trying to force us to do things, and even forcing businesses to close and people to die. I could see that they were doing these evil things but I couldn’t understand why. I though I had the answer in the money and dependency promoted by vaccines, but then the vaccines came out and things changed again.

It became obvious that they wanted everyone to take one of these experimental Covid vaccines. It was reasonable to assume that this was an effort to put everyone onto a system that would create repeat customers in the medical industry. They even called President Trump in for an interview and used air time to ask him whether or not he thought his followers should take the vaccine and he agreed, but then Dr. Fauci started discussing the plan to vaccinate children. At about that time I started realizing that this must be more than just getting people vaccinated. Why would you need to vaccinate children who have almost no risk from Covid-19? To add to that, the medical establishment was even pressuring people who already had a natural immunity to take the vaccine!

Masks were also still being enforced. Why would those who have had the virus or who had the vaccine need to be masked? They were clearly pushing everyone to be vaccinated whether they needed it or not. This is not only wrong it is ridiculous. They even attempted to change the meaning of the words “vaccine” and “herd immunity” in order to promote vaccination. What would cause a person to risk their professional reputations to do this?

Finally, the governor of New York, held on for dear life as he was being asked to resign over accusations of misconduct. On April 2nd, he implemented New York’s Vaccine Passport. These passports would allow people to go back to normal. This is a system that allows you to conduct business, as long as you have permission from the government. Finally, I realized what I should have seen earlier. This was an attempt to get every single person into a system. This system would control who can buy, sell or travel and where. That was an exact match to what the Bible said was coming.

Let’s look at what the Bible says so you can see it for yourself.

Revelation 13:16-18

He causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, and the free and the slave, to be given marks on their right hands, or on their foreheads;  and that no one would be able to buy or to sell, unless he has that mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.  Here is wisdom. He who has understanding, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is six hundred sixty-six.

The “he” being discussed in this passage, is an evil man who takes over the world in an attempt to supplant Jesus Christ, often called “the anti-Christ.” You might want to read all of Revelation 13. This should concern people. It is clearly possible to use an app and a QR code or some other method of scanning that is imprinted on a person to buy and sell things. Added to that, it is clearly the will of many mysterious leaders to use “passports” to limit one’s ability to buy and sell things.

When I was born, people were quite curious as to how a world leader would be able to control what people buy and sell. It was also strange to think of how a mark on a person’s body would be used in the process, but now it’s all right here in front of us.

Can you imagine a world with a perfect economy; one without theft or deceptive practices? Can you imagine a world without a single war? What if people cared for each other instead of fighting and stealing from each other? What would it be like if everyone was given respect? What would it be like if slavery was completely gone? What would the world be like if everyone simply told the truth?

If these things sound good to you, I want to tell you that this new world is coming, but first I want to warn you about something. You need to know that there are very popular movements that attempt to answer these questions, but that will actually lead to even more pain, suffering and hatred. The answer is not “The Great Reset”. It’s not “The Green New Deal”. It’s not socialism or communism. These are deceptions and many things like these have been tried before and have produced even greater evils than they claim to end.

This world is at war. I’m talking about an epic spiritual war that’s invisible to the human eye. Evil powers are fighting with good powers and evil is being challenged and as a result, it has become more open and vicious in its attempts to subvert you.

The evil powers are trying to tell you that man can solve man’s problems by man’s efforts, but this doesn’t make sense. If man caused the problems, how can man solve them? If man is the source of hatred, how can man become the source of love? If a few men couldn’t solve the problems of a few, how can all men solve the problems of all? What sense does it make to increase man’s well-being by the elimination of man? How can the same man who harms people with technology be trusted to control people with it? How is it that being intolerant of intolerance is more tolerant? These things don’t make any sense. These are lies and this is how the evil powers operate. They get you to self-destruct. They confuse you and cause you to fear so that you will seek them and become enslaved to them. They are attempting to control you and I don’t want you to become another one of their victims.

The solution to our problems is found in one place. It’s God’s Law.

If everyone would simply follow God’s law, peace would immediately begin! King David’s excitement over this amazing proposition is obvious in Psalm 119. Listen to a little bit of what he said:

“Your testimonies are wonderful,
    therefore my soul keeps them.
130 The entrance of your words gives light.
    It gives understanding to the simple.
131 I opened my mouth wide and panted,
    for I longed for your commandments.
132 Turn to me, and have mercy on me,
    as you always do to those who love your name.
133 Establish my footsteps in your word.
    Don’t let any iniquity have dominion over me.
134 Redeem me from the oppression of man,
    so I will observe your precepts.
135 Make your face shine on your servant.
    Teach me your statutes.
136 Streams of tears run down my eyes,
    because they don’t observe your law.”

– Psalm 119:129-136

Jesus summed up the law in a beautiful way. Here’s what He said:

He said to him, “What is written in the law? How do you read it?”

27 He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind;Deuteronomy 6:5 and your neighbor as yourself.”Leviticus 19:18

28 He said to him, “You have answered correctly. Do this, and you will live.”

Luke 10:26-28

God’s law is the answer to all of our human problems. If you and I would only follow these laws we wouldn’t even need a government at all! The ultimate form of liberty is for each man to follow God without the need for human government. It is a lie that we need to have a powerful government that directs everything we do. Our problem is much worse than simply turning everything over to a centralized human government. Our problem is that we can’t control ourselves! We are completely out of control and one out-of-control human can’t possibly save another one. All we know how to do is to enslave each other.

If the only way to solve the world’s problems is to follow God’s law, then there is a very serious issue keeping us from happiness. Perhaps you know what it is. If you don’t, then I suggest that you attempt to obey God’s Ten Commandments today and come back and read the rest of what I have to say later. Try to follow just the last one of the Ten Commandments which is the one to not covet what someone else has. That’s a serious command. Coveting is what causes war.

What we all learn as we attempt to follow God’s Law, is that we can’t actually do it. It looks easy, it sounds easy and it isn’t hard to understand, but for some reason, we can’t even get through a day without failing! This proves what the problem really is: man can’t do good! If you still don’t think this is true, keep trying… you’ll be back. You are the problem.

If we want to live in a good world, we must find a way to live according to the perfect ideal that God has shown us in His Law. Thankfully, there is a way.

God not only gave us His Law, He also gave us His Son and then He gave us His Power! Allow me to explain.

It’s impossible for you an I to follow God’s law because we are evil. God’s Law tells us that we got this way because our first parents decided to disobey God’s law. Ever since then, we’ve all been doing it. Now we have another problem. God’s law says that those who break it are to be separated from all that is good forever. That makes sense doesn’t it? Those who do good shouldn’t have to put up with those of us who don’t should they? That’s why God had to give us His Son.

Jesus is God’s Son. This is a hard thing for us to understand, but the Bible says that Jesus is God just as His Father is God too. This means that He is perfect and not confined to our sin. When He was here, He followed God’s law and proved that it could be done by a man. That did two things. It demonstrated how beautiful human life could be, and it condemned us all to hell because we don’t do it! But Jesus, instead of just condemning us, died in our place taking the punishment for our failure to follow God’s law. This was an acceptable spiritual exchange and it clears those of us who accept it from the law’s punishment.

Being forgiven of our wrongs, takes our punishment away, but it doesn’t really change the fact that we can’t do what is right. That’s where the resurrection comes in. Jesus also came back to life from the dead. This is a fact that “fake news” has been trying to subvert ever since it happened. When Jesus came back to life after dying for our sin, it demonstrated that we have a living hope. By doing this, God can pass the life of Jesus to each person who trusts in Jesus’ death for them. Jesus’ death was a substitute for ours. If we accept that, His life can now be a substitute for our life! Jesus’ life in us produces the desire to follow God’s Law!

There’s still one problem. Even though Christians have the genuine desire to follow God’s Law, they still can’t do it! Listen to what Paul described in the Bible:

For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin. 15 For I don’t know what I am doing. For I don’t practice what I desire to do; but what I hate, that I do. 

Romans 7:14-15

Just having the deep desire to follow God’s law is awesome, but it’s obviously not enough. What Paul calls: “fleshly” here is the root of our problems as Christians. We have a deep desire to do what is right but this body of ours is giving us different directions. It’s still trying to operate by the old program. The Bible says that this is going to keep happening until we die or our bodies are changed into our new ones.

This is where God’s Power comes in. In the very next chapter of Paul’s book of Romans it says this:

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. 3 For what the law couldn’t do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh; 4 that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:2-4

The way to succeed at following God’s Law today, is to first become a Christian by believing in God’s Son’s death for sin, and then to trust in the Power of the Holy Spirit that is living inside of every Christian. This produces a new world order in us! This new world order has been advancing ever since Jesus resurrected and I’m inviting you to join.

It really is possible to live the life of love and hope that you’ve dreamed about, but this is only the beginning. Our world is still at war and it will continue. Even as more and more of us start living by God’s Law, there will be those who refuse and this calls for true tolerance.

Now is the time for Christians to be patient as we tolerate those who don’t believe yet. Part of our goodness, is for us to suffer quietly while we try to convince others to come to life in Jesus. The Bible says that Jesus is coming back, and when He does, it will all be over for those who don’t believe. Those who don’t believe will be removed so that His Kingdom can be set up according to His perfect law. In the mean time, we get to have each other! We get a taste of what it will be like when everyone lives together in perfect harmony.

What is a Worldview?

Does it seem to you like people have completely lost their minds these days? It does to me, but I’m quite sure that the issue has nothing to do with intelligence or ignorance. I believe that what we are witnessing is a fundamental difference in worldviews. You and I may find something to be wrong or foolish, that someone else actually dares to base their entire life upon. We may wonder why people are doing so many strange things or think that our country has become divided and question: “Why can’t people just come together?” The fact is that when people have significantly different worldviews, it may be impossible to be united on even the most basic issues.

A Definition

I’d like to provide a formal definition of a worldview. Here’s one that I think is very helpful for us in our day and age:

“A worldview is a network of presuppositions, untested by the natural sciences, and in light of which all experience is interpreted.”

A “network of presuppositions” is just the interconnection of ideas that you believe to be true about the most basic things in life. When it says that these things are “untested by the natural sciences,” it means that these are things you “automatically assume” to be true without any evidence.

It’s important to realize that everyone has a worldview. That’s because each person has to have one in order to make sense of the world. Also, there’s a reason why you don’t have any evidence for your worldview. It’s because evidence is always interpreted through your worldview. You have to have a worldview before you interpret evidence.

There’s No Way to be Neutral

There are some people who like to think that they don’t have a specific worldview. They believe that they are neutral and accept all worldviews. That sounds pretty good, but it’s actually not logical at all. A person who is trying to be neutral, might say: “It is better to accept all views.” This is an example of an non-neutral existing belief or “presupposition”. It’s one of those presuppositions that is already contained in their worldview. The funny thing is that they are assuming that they are not assuming something. That makes this a worldview that denies its own existence. This particular worldview is irrational and wrong. There’s more on this in my article: The Fallacy of Neutrality.

Refuting an Evidentialistic Worldview

So, “presuppositions” are what you automatically assume to be true without any evidence. That might raise a red flag to you. You might even be thinking: “I don’t have any presuppositions. I require evidence for everything I believe in.” If you are thinking this, your thinking is actually an example of a presupposition.

If you think that you have evidence for all of your beliefs, your presupposition is that it is wrong to believe in something without evidence. You probably agree with the statement: “It isn’t right to believe in something without any evidence”, but once again, this statement is a presupposition. Do you have evidence to prove that this is correct or are you just assuming it to be correct?

I would guess that you are merely assuming it to be true. Have you even listed all of your beliefs? Even if you have listed every one, do you have evidence for each of them? If so, can you prove each one of those? At some point, you will run out of evidence. That’s because you are not all knowing. At some point, you are forced to “just believe” some things. Those beliefs, whether you admit to them or not, are your worldview.

So, truth claims, such as: “It isn’t right to believe in something without evidence” cannot be proven with evidence. This particular worldview is sometimes called Evidentialism or Empiricism.

Why is this Important?

A rational worldview helps us sort through the information that invades our world. It colors everything everything we see and hear, but there can only be one correct worldview and the Bible claims to be the correct one. The Bible tells us that the only correct worldview points us to God Himself and actually makes life better.

King Solomon, the wisest king of Israel other than Jesus, told us this:

“There is no wisdom nor understanding
    nor counsel against Yahweh.”

Proverbs 21:30

“The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge;
    but the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.”

Proverbs 1:7

“The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.”
    They are corrupt.
    They have done abominable deeds.
    There is no one who does good.”

Psalm 14:1

“The way of the sluggard is like a thorn patch,
    but the path of the upright is a highway.”

Proverbs 15:19

Staying Alert in the Information Age

We live in a world that is full of information. It seems to come at us from every direction. In order for information to be truth, the correct worldview must be behind it. Most things that we hear in the news and from others these days are not based on the correct worldview. Even if words and concepts from the Bible are used, the information may still be a well crafted lie. If we pay attention to the worldviews of those who are giving us information it will help us avoid being fooled. The Bible tells us that God honors this kind of careful behavior. Paul writes:

“…that no advantage may be gained over us by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes.”

2 Corinthians 2:11

So when you read the news, Facebook, a blog or listen to a preacher, remember how important worldviews are. You may have to ask: “How do you know that?” a few times. If they are expecting you to avoid your belief in the Bible as your basic presupposition, then their worldview is wrong and the information they provide may lead you down the wrong path, even if they sound good or seem right at first. Our basic assumptions about reality should always be firmly in place, like a firm foundation and we must always guard that foundation.

“…for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 5 throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,…”
